Glam Punk is currently comprised of Miguel Francis Santiago. Miguel was born in Moscow to a Russian mother and a Chilean father. In 1996, he immigrated to America. Most of his teen years he spent between Moscow and New York, getting his inspirations from various artists ranging from Tiesto to Rammstein. Currently Miguel travels between Los Angeles and Moscow quite often, working on different projects in the entertainment industry while residing in Los Angeles.

Miguel fell in love with House back in 2004 after listening to Nick Warren's Global Underground '03 "Reykjavik". His trip to Moscow in 2004 completely changed his view on electronic music. He found the captivating Moscow's nights to be filled with adventures in the lavish clublife and luxury market that thrives on this music. The scene made him fall in love with not just the music but the way of life that this music brings. Miguel believes there is a certain psychology behind House music. One thing he knows for sure is that it brings people together, good people together.

Поездка в Москву в 2004 году совершенно поменяла его взгляд на электронную музыку. Он увидел затягивающие Московские ночи, они были полны приключeний пышной клубной индустрии и рынок роскоши который живет на этой музыке. Этот ритм ночной жизни влюбил Мигеля ни только в Москву но и в ритм жизни который эта музыку влечет за собой. Мигель верит что есть определенная психология за Хаус музыкой. Одно он знает точно, эта музыка соединяет людей вместе, хороших людей.

Los Angeles House scene has been known for its deep and hard druggy-house orientated culture. Glam Punk, coming from a completely different world of House music is determined to bring something fresh to the table and inspire those around him. The style Glam Punk spins is a cross between electro-funk, vocal house with some commercial and progressive. Glam Punk knows how to make the party happen by bringing an aura of positive vibes and fresh energy with grooves that will spark anyones desire to get on the floor and dance!

Сцена Лос-Анджелесовкого Хауса всегда считалась в стиле Deep и была знаменита своеи нарко-образной культурой. Glam Punk входя в нее с другими понятиями сумел сделать что то свежее и заинтриговать этим весь город. Стиль который крутит и поет Мигель смешанны с electro-funk, vocal house a так же commercial и progressive. Miguel Santiago знает как насытить любое мероприятие аурой позитива и свежей энергии с грувами которые зажгут желание у любого прыгнуть на танцпол и танцевать!

Miguel's singing initially began at the age of eight back in Moscow, where he attended the Moscow Music School of Rastropovich, which finished with the performance of his first composition "Morning in the Mountains" at the Rachmaninoff Conservatory. He picked up the guitar at the age of 16 and since then has been writing his own songs and developing his voice. Later on while living in Los Angeles, Miguel had the pelasure to work as a voice artist on many commercials, trailers and films. His recent collaboration with Moscow's famous DJ Smash and Pavel Hoodyakov on their video to "Shahzoda" can been seen in the blogs section here. Today Miguel works in Moscow with "Honey Bunny" on "Imperia Lounge Thursdays" as a regular MC and a live vocalist, performing various styles of vocals through out the night, singing his own productions and adding sharp vocals to productions that already exist. Miguel Santiago is a regular collaborator with the duo "Vengerov & Fedoroff", hailed as one of the most exciting DJ projects in Russia, producing tracks such as the official hymn of "Kazantip 2010" which Miguel had the honor to record his vocals for in English and Russian, and a rework of a classic war song "Kartyusha" which Miguel sings in Russian! Currently Miguel is collaborating with DJ Eugene Noiz on new material and is very optimistic about Moscow.
